My Favorite Amazon Beauty Items!

Nothing says #momlife better than a well used Amazon Prime account, and basically any online shopping, am I right?!

I don't know about you guys, but taking my kids to any store to shop other than the grocery store usually ends in disaster or a meltdown over wanting some plastic toy, usually of the obnoxious singing kind (ugh). So the sheer thought of taking my girls to Sephora or Ulta with me literally sends me into a cold sweat. Lord knows it would be t-minus two seconds till the baby had some gross used tester wand all over her face and my 4yo would simultaneously decide today is the day to try a smokey eye... on herself... with glitter... (*deep breaths, deeeeep breaths*)

All that being said (*shudders*)... I still like to keep up on beauty trends and try new and fun things. Well #amazonprime does not disappoint! Here is a list of my absolute FAVORITE recent beauty finds that I cannot live without. I honestly use each and every one of these items regularly and can't wait to hear what your favorites are too!! Have an item you love? Drop me a comment and share the love because lord knows I need to order more stuff (joking... maybe)

More details on all these favorites below!

This dreamy oil lathers into a silky cream and WARMS as you rub it on. I have never loved a body wash, shower oil more in my life!! My amazing friend Anna brought some on a girls trip a while back and raved about it so of course I had to try it and it was seriously love at first shower. MUST HAVE!

This is another one of those magical HOW DOES THIS WORK?! But honestly you don't care because it just DOES. These little patches work wonders for those random pimples that pop up (always at the worst possible time) that you need gone fast! Just put one of the clear patches on clean, dry skin over the affected pimple and it literally sucks the yuck out and into the patch. Sound gross? Well it kinda is, but once you peel the patch off you will be amazed at how well it worked! I put these on at night when needed and then just peel off and throw away in the AM. Bye, Bye gross pimple trying to ruin my day. Not today Satan, not today.

If you've ever wondered how someone has that perfectly smooth hairless face that makeup just glides onto like they are a living Instagram filter... well let me help solve that mystery for you... they are, 1) A celebrity with their very own beauty and esthetic team, 2) Shave their Face, or 3) Both of these things. Seriously when I heard of this I thought it was crazy but being the curious gal I am I had to try it and WHOA does it makes a big difference! Now I am not talking shaving every day, I am talking maybe once or twice a MONTH with my beloved Nangai Oil and no, the hair doesn't grow back faster or longer! Pinkie Swear.

Let's be honest here, when is the last time you washed your brushes? For real? Mmmm hmmm, thought so. Did you know by not regularly cleaning and sanitizing your brushes you can be causing breakouts, bacteria and even get a stye from bacteria in your eye (no thanks). I know how time consuming washing can be but seriously, this is a MUST HAVE for cleaning and sanitizing your brushes in between washes. I buy this large bottle and then just pour it into a smaller spray bottle, voila! Brush cleaning spray!! To clean brushes, just spritz some on the bristles and onto a clean paper towel and swirl until all the yuck comes out of your brush! Taaaa daaaa! Clean brushes in a jiffy and they are sanitized too! This an MUA life saver right here, for real.

Like mixing makeup to make your own colors but hate making a mess on your hand? Say hello to your new best friend! I absolutely LOVE these palettes and think they are a must have for any makeup kit! The little wells make them perfect for mixing and stainless steel is SUPER easy to clean after you are done being a makeup mixologist.

This is one of those "happy accident" finds on amazon when I was looking for something else and this showed up as a suggestion and boy am I glad I did!! I originally purchased these in a multi pack with other kinds of masks (vitamin C, cucumber, ect) BUT, out of all the masks this is by far my absolute FAVORITE. My routine is to wash and exfoliate my face with another fave of mine, SeneGence Polishing Exfoliator, and then I apply one of these for about 20 minutes and let all the cooling gel amazingness soak in. Then I take it off, rub in any excess gel and finish the rest of my skincare regimen. It seriously enhances my entire skincare routine and I do these about once a week and seriously cannot live without them!

Have you tried witch hazel before and thought it smelled gross? Yeah, me too girl, me too. Well this one smells like roses and it is heaven! It is also alcohol free so its not going to sting or dry out your skin. If you have no idea what witch hazel is for lemme tell you, you need some because it cleanses, tones and moisturizes your skin. I use this on a cotton round right after washing my face and wipe away any excess dirt and grime before applying my treatments and moisturizers. This is also great for cleaning oily eyelids prior to shadow application (ahem, my eye lids are an oil slick and this helps!) AND for all my LipSense lovers, you can "prime" and clean your lips with this prior to applying your LipSense too! Hooray for witch hazel!

This adorable little cuticle oil pen was another stellar discovery thanks to my awesome friend Anna (love you girl!) and I carry it with me everywhere in my purse! It is small but powerful and I love that the "crisp" scent option is nice and fresh. This is a must have to keep your nails and cuticles healthy AND a little pro tip... if you have frizzy fly away hairs or damaged ends... put some cuticle oil on your fingers and then gently run your hand over your hair and it will calm those crazies in two seconds flat! You're welcome.

That's all for now babes but I have a lot more favorites still (*ahem* hair stuff*ahem*) so keep your eyes peeled for my next installment of #amazonfavorites

Slay all day babes - Heather
